From Within Therapy

Krista Hein Bland, MS Krista began her journey of becoming a therapist in 2017 at East Carolina University. After graduating with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019, Krista went on to pursue her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech. There, Krista has received advanced training and education as a therapist. Krista has completed her class and internship work at Virginia Tech and is now finishing up her dissertation. After completing her internship requirements in Grand Junction, CO, she moved to Knoxville, TN where she is employed at the University of Tennessee Knoxville in addition to her work as a therapist. She is currently completing her licensure requirements under the supervision of Connie Crossley, MA, LMFT. Krista has worked in a variety of therapy settings including private practice, group practice, and as a medical family therapist in a pediatric endocrinology office and at a family practice. Throughout her training, she has done work with individuals, couples, and families. Krista has received additional training in couples work, EMDR, and trauma-informed therapy. Krista is LGBTQIA+ affirming and an ally. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, open, and empathetic environment to her clients to support their journey and autonomy.
