Krista Hein Bland, MS
Krista began her journey of becoming a therapist in 2017 at East Carolina University. After graduating with her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2019, Krista went on to pursue her doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy at Virginia Tech, which she has finished in 2024. There, Krista has received advanced training and education as a therapist. She moved to Knoxville, TN in 2023, where she is employed at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, in addition to her work as a therapist. She is currently completing her licensure requirements under the supervision of Connie Crossley, MA, LMFT.
Krista has worked in a variety of therapy settings including private practice, group practice, and as a medical family therapist in a pediatric endocrinology office and a family practice. Throughout her training, she has done work with individuals, couples, and families.
Krista has received additional training in couples work, EMDR, and trauma-informed therapy. Krista is LGBTQIA+ affirming and an ally. She strives to provide a non-judgmental, open, and empathetic environment to her clients to support their journey and autonomy.
